I know that especially with age, we kind of get the face fuzz going on.. geez... I need some help here, ladies.. I'm a bit embarrassed but i'd rather ASK for advice then run around with a guerrilla growing on my face! Does anybody have any tips on getting rid of it without costing a fortune? It needs to be a mild procedure cuz I have a sensitive face. THANKS!!!!!

1|1|Don't buy the hair remover thingy they sell that you rub in a circle,,,it does not work|hudge4|hudge95@yahoo.com|14:11:46|12/30/2009|

I can't remember what they call it but it's 9.99. Smooth Away or something like that.

The thing I use is just plain ol hair remover, like nair for the face. The hair usually grows slow and its about a month til I have to do it again. You should be able to get a store brand for less money.

...maybe I used it at the wrong time of the month (when my skin is more sensitive??) because it inflamed my skin leaving two small marks on my face (like slightly raised pimples)...and it hurt for the whole week. Had to use Ivory soap to wash my face until it recovered!!! First time I had a bad reaction like that since I was in my late teens using it.

I've tried Nair, Avon, Sally Hansen.. My problem is that my face gets red and inflamed and I get little red sores and then scabs after I use anything. I use it according to directions but whatever I use, burns my face:( What REALLY helps that, is to immediately rub in 100% aloe vera gel afterword and it helps relieve the burning.

I know what you mean, though. I did this yesterday and kept it on 15 minutes-too long. It's still tender and red where I used it. But still, I will adjust it from there next time. Maybe instead of 15 min I'd go 12 minutes.

Still I think using the nair for face is the best thing and least expensive. I went to a local nail salon and they were charging 7.00 for brows (not too bad) but another 7.00 to do the lip!! I can't do my own brows-OUCH! I can have 3 babies but pluck my own brows-yee-ouch!

I'm sort of scared to use Nair after my last experience, but have a feeling I'll be all right. Maybe trying doing on-line searches to see what comes up with feedback/opinions...|Shirley5150|Shirley5150@peoplepc.com|21:08:38|12/31/2009|

...I have never used anything else other than facial hair bleach...and that got my skin worked up a couple times, but afterwards, never had reoccurring issues with it. One thing I never tried yet has been waxing though???

Not a lil 5 and dime type but a pricey one where the staff may actually have a little more knowledge about the products they have to offer as well as a larger selection. |pussecat|pu55ecat@aol.com|09:04:48|01/01/2010|
