Well, after two and a half stressul weeks wondering, I have finally got the verdict. My doctor said there are still some hot spots in my abdomen after the surgery, and we are starting chemo treatments on Monday. I will need 6 treatments, one every 3 weeks. They will do snother PET scan after 3 and 6 to make sure this took care of it all. He tells me this is not a big deal, that everything was found early and is not too advanced, and that I should look at this as a "pain in the butt that will end in a few months" and that after that everything should go back to normal. My aunt went through chemo several years ago and we've been talking, and I am feeling pretty comfortable, not like I have a choice, right? My mom and I are going to go get a few wigs, and my aunt still has hers (but she is blonde and I have very dark brown hair, but I think it might be fun to be a blonde for a change).
Anyway, I am not sure at this point how I will be feeling and all, but the doctor said to try to stay to my regular routine as much as possible, he says that will help fight the fatigue and make everything easier. So I will hopefully be online and trading, but will probably not be getting my hands on my usual quantities of goodies, since I don't think I'll be getting out as much.

This wasn't that bad, just a long, boring day. We left at 7:15 and still ended up late for my 8:30 appointment, it started snowing at 7 for just 15 minutes, but messed up traffic really bad! A lot of sitting and waiting, then sitting with the iv. Got home about 6:30 tonight. They think the next one will be faster, they do it slower the first time to see how you react to the drugs, so a little shorter next one.
Now just to see how the side effects hit, if at all with the drugs, and to watch my poor hair fall out. I am checking to see of Locks of Love can use it, but I don't think it's long enough (just above my shoulders right now).
