I was spoiled for christmas
hubby got me this neat necklace..it's like gold bars on each side
and a string of diamonds hanging down...& a columbia jacket.because i'm always cold.
haley got me this wall hanging that says
"we may not have it all together, but together, we have it all" Now that was a
sentimental moment to me...and took me a few minutes to pull myself together..
I thought that was very sweet of her... she did her own shopping..
and then she got me some picture frames that have sayings on them, family, love, peace etc.
and then she got me a pair of black thermals...love..love..love those!! and this was funny
i bought her a velour pant set with the zip up hoodie in red, and she got me a matching set
in black...: )
AND for christmas I also got kidney stones i think..I've been hurting since christmas eve...
i've spent hours in hot baths..and hot water bottles on my lower back and stomach..i've been
trying to drink lots of water and hope that helps...I really dont' want to go to the doctors..
the last 2 days..i couldnt' even stand up straight..and was in my pj's the whole day.. but finally
i'm feeling better..took a shower, cleaned up and I think i'm feeling better...so i'm hoping so...

As a family we got a Wii with extra goodies that came with it. Cheyenne has been wanting one for so long and I really wanted something we could all play together. I also got scrapbook stuff, clothes, gift cards and other goodies, it was an awesome Christmas. We had our Christmas dinner on Christmas eve, so we could relax on Christmas Day and I'm so glad we did, cause I felt so exhausted yesterday and just laid around. It was nice having all the kids here, after we opened presents, our oldest son and his wife headed down to spend a couple days with her relatives and our son Matthew was picked up by his best friend and is spending the weekend in Williamsburg, then the rest of next week up in Northern VA. So it's pretty quiet here with just Will, Cheyenne and I, oh and our puppy dogs. They are in hog heaven, they got lots of goodies too. LOL. Hugs, Rebekka

Something I gave to my Dh because I knew he would like them just as much. About a month ago I found a big stack of old Dynamite magazines from the mid 70's and it was like visiting being 9 again. There was "The Love Boat", "Gary Coleman, Mork, Shaun Cassidy, Andy Gibb and all of those funny old shows I used to escape with. And the magazines looked new (all of the 3d glasses, posters, etc are all there!) and best of all they charged me a whole .10 each for them! When J opened them he just got so excited! And then we looked through them together and it was so much fun!
We had a really nice Christmas this year and everyone got something they really wanted, but seeing my husbands face light up like a kid again was just the best feeling I had this year for sure.

1) He brought me an I phone (I have been using a flip top Nokia with an antenna no less, for the past 5 years)
I have been an AT&T customer for a few years so I was able to get in on the $99 deal and dh's employer uses I
phones, so all their employees who buy them get a discout Win-Win
2) Santa also replaced my huge computer monitor and brought me a 22" flat screen. I am sooo excited I finally have room to work on my desk. The old computer took up almost every inch of space. Of course, dh had to mention that it is all just more room for my clutter (unfortunately, he's right, but I still love the monitor)
3) Since my I phone has the Ipod, Santa also put an ITunes GC in my stocking. This should be interesting....I am so technically challenged. Last year for my birthday dh bought me an MP3 player and I still haven't figured out how to use it. Last Cmas ds and dil gave me a digital picture frame that still doesn't have any pictures on it.. :(
But, hopefully, there are enough people in my family with Ipods that surely someone can help me figure all this out
