11 0|0|What's everyone making for Cmas dinner? We're having butter-herb roasted turkey, mushrooms with croutons, garlic and parmesan (baked), glazed spiced carrots, mashed potatoes/homemade turkey gravy, cranberry jello salad....just the four of us, so I kept it relatively simple :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|12:27:28|12/25/2009|

A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.

You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

No one wanted a huge meal so decided to go easy. So here's the menu
homemade veg. & chili soup made by me
homemade ham salad made by me
deli ham, turkey & cheese for sandwiches
cupcakes, gave to hubby by someone from his work
jello & butter cake made by my mom
chips & pop
think one of the girls is bringing fudge.
I bought & made most everything, so it's a free will donation, figured this would be so much easier. Merry Christmas everyone

lots of yummy Polish foods and desserts.

gulumki (stuffed cabbage), pierogies, hulushki, fruit breads, Kalachi (nut roll scoookies), mini cakes, and so much more.

It was my mom's idea and everything was so good. we had a grat day together (and ate way to much)
