does anyone else have family that they would just love to strangle?? not only my family but my hubbys family.....
started out last night when his sister..who just lost her husband just a bit over a yr ago..called......telling us she had her son and his wife take her ham and turkey to their house
when all the power went out this past wk due to snow storm that came thru........apparently she went to get them.......and he had supposedly gave them away.....yea right...probably traded them for a couple pills........come to find out..she has no coal or wood...if her power goes out again..she will have no heat...so we are gonna chip in and buy her fuel........
then.....tonight,was the night we ALWAYS .....for as long as i can ever remember..have went to my parents...and had dinner....opened presents ect.....all of us kids are always there....
plus our kids.. grandkids,,,great grandkids. my dad is either 88 or 90..and hes getting on up there in age...who knows if we will have him another yr.......& today is my moms birthday..she passed away in 2001..we have always had christmas on her birthday....since she has been gone we just continue the tradition....its kinda like..if u arent deathly sick.....or dead...you are expected to be here...........only persons we dont have there are my 2nd to the oldest brother, his kids.......and they dont ever come..even ...when they came to my moms funeral..they sat in the back of funeral home the whole time...like it was taking up their precious time.........
anyway....we lost a brother in 2003...i thought everyone had learned the concept of being with family ,while u have them..because u never know when they are gonna be gone.....since my dad is getthing so old.......it will be a mircle if we have him another yr.........
well today....my second to the oldest brother.......didnt even bother to show up.........he usually comes makes about a 10min appearance then he is gone on his way........tonite he didnt even do that.......so all the presents that goes to his family...are still sitting under my dads tree........and that just pisses me off royally..because he acts like because i didnt call.....and give him a personal invitation......to his own dads house........that he shouldnt come......or some bull..........

we have family members like that and I think they crave the attention they get because they dont come around. once you start not caring things will change, they realize they cannot ruin things by not being there so they show up. only way to get some attention.
I would have taken the presents back home and donated them to someone who appreciates them

to call me christmas night and say......are yall having dinner at daddys tonight? i said nope ,we had it last night
and we wondered where u was............his excuse was..i couldnt remember if we had it christmas night or christmas eve............
we have NEVER in my life had it on christmas........he was just covering his butt because someone told him
i was mad.......lol
