We got wind & some snow last night but then freezing rain on top of it so everything is glistening a shiney white. And believe it or not, it's now raining! W/the temps hovering right around freezing here, it is going to be one NASTY mess when the temps drop just a couple degrees. :( Anybody up to some serious ice skating???

Just read an email from one of my aunts that came in last night. On top of this snow/ice mess, they're w/out water! Their son & his family came from out of town yesterday to spend the Christmas holidays w/them & my aunt is expecting another 9-10 people tonight for supper on top of a bigger gathering tomorrow. They live out in the country, on the ridge, so have their own well. No water in the house or their barn for the horses. My uncle figures it's something w/the motor so a well-driller is coming out this afternoon. He has to dig 285 feet down thru frozen ground, in this rain & cold, to get to the well's motor!! :(
