I have a mass mailing to do of 80 homes and I really don't want to hand write all the envelopes. This is for my Homeowners Association, so once I have it saved to my computer, I will be able to use it again next year. I seem to get this good job each year!!! I am hoping there is a computer program I can use. I make my labels using Print Shop, my operating system is Vista and I have Microsoft Works. I know just enough computer "stuff" to make me dangerous!!! So, if you can help, please be specific.

Ugh! what a pain in the butt! I've been through 10 programs so far and STILL haven't found one that works properly. I'm still looking!

Posted on Dec-21-09 at 08:55 AM (Eastern) by 207.190.75.230If you have MS Works/Word, you should have MS Office ? & be able to go online w/it to find what you're looking for.
Just open your MS Word & when the small Getting Started dialogue box comes up on the right, click on where it says, "Connect to Microsoft Office Online". Then click on the Templates tab at the top, type address labels in the Search box & click Search.
I just did it to check & there are a few pages w/templates for 30/sheet you can look thru to find which one you'd like to download into your My Documents. Then you can type in each person's NAZ on an individual label & print out. :)
Wish I would've thought to do it for my Christmas cards. :-p LOL

Posted on Dec-21-09 at 11:41 AM (Eastern) by 208.45.13.145click labels, it should ask you like mailing, shipping or merge, just pick mailing (it should actually be checked for you) then it will tell you to pick labels, it you have the 30 label sheet use scroll to 5160 (or whatever number your label box says) then click new document. This will bring up a page where you can type in all the addys, but once your done you will be able to save it for next time.

5|2|The problem I'm having with word is that it says i can only open the program a total of 30 times unless i buy MS Office and that program is $199 I had no idea it was not included in my purchase already or I would have gotten in on the "deal" Best Buy was offering when I bought the computer. Posted on Dec-21-09 at 02:40 PM (Eastern) by 174.44.58.220now days nothing comes with works anymore, but actually the only trouble I have with using works is if I have to send something to someone a lot of the time they have a hard time opening it unless they have works, which most people end up buying the word program. But if you don't intend on having to do a whole lot of document sending I would say that you don't need to rush and spend the money on word.
