some one refused an order of omaha stuff brand beef they had ordered. did my friend want it for $150. my friend says yes. i bought 1/2 of my friends stuff for $75. my half included 12 burgers. 2 t- bones. 4 ribeye steaks, plus 9 other steaks of one kind or another. all individual packed and flash frozen. if you guys lived closed we could have quite a cookout.

They haven't come on my door but I see their white conversion van around here pretty frequently in the warmer months. It has some kind of name w/"Steaks & Seafood" on the side but it's not "Omaha". They were in my mom's neighborhood the year before last & tried to sell her a freezer too when she told them she didn't have room for that much meat. She lives in a mobile home & told them she didn't have anywhere to put a freezer. And they wanted to come into her house but she wouldn't let them.
I called City Hall & found out that anyone selling anything like that around here needs a permit from City Hall, which these meat sellers did NOT get. There are signs on each end of town that say "NO Soliciting". Strange how they seem to avoid the downtown or main drag area....
I'd be nervous about buying anything from them. :(

We had an article in the local newspaper about NEVER, EVER buying meat like this because it has not been inspected and/or may have been frozen, refrozen, thawed, refrozen, etc.
