So for the first 28 years I only ever saw snow on tv... Thats what happens when you grow up near the beach in So Cali...
My first 7 years here I saw a bit of snow later in the season, but never on Christmas. Last year I was snowed in so bad that, even thought I lived in a huge apartment complex, I didn't see another person from 22-27, I mean did not even see someone walking by! Just people on tv... Was sad. This year, no snow here in Portland, but I found out were sure to have snow in Iowa. Ya know what? I don't like snow!! LoL I want to stay home and warm!!! LoL

This is a once in a decade storm here in VA- we have around 16 inches now and it's still supposed to fall for several more hours. I'm quite sure at least some of it will still be around on Friday. Got some freezing rain/drizzle tho last wkend & are supposed to maybe get another snowstorm mid-week. Personally, I think it would be awesome to have it snow on Christmas Eve, just like in the movies. :)
We spend Christmas Eve w/my mom & since it's just us here in town, it wouldn't pose a problem. Christmas Day is the big gathering where there are some who have to travel a little ways. Of course, I wouldn't want anyone to be out on the roads if it got nasty but ya know what? I really wouldn't mind having a quieter Christmas Day w/just my mom & us here in town. I think it would be neat, & actually kind of nostalgic, for it to snow on both Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.
Guess I've watched too many Walton's & Little House on the Prairie re-runs. LOL

Warmed into the upper 20's here the last couple of days so it's getting a little stooshly looking out. Could use a fresh, new layer of the white stuff. ;)
