Mix 1 pkg. cream cheese at room temperature, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla.
Roll the dough out. Cut the dough on the sides only into strips. Put the filling down the center and then criss cross the strips over each other. Bake in 350 oven for 15-20 minutes or until browned. Mix some powder sugar, water and vanilla to make a glaze and spread while
pastry is still warm. You can roll the dough out to make a large pastry or make several pastries. A good idea for bake sales or to share with friends.
