So when there were great $1/1 crescent rolls and Grands printable coupons out I stocked up...
I remember Vanessa saying the grands didn't puff up as much after, but they still work so I didn't want to risk using the Crescent rolls since they don't have as much puff as the Grands (does that make sense? LoL) Well I used some of my Grans the other day and they worked great for my breakfast tarts! They were soooooo good (The tars that is) and Jeromy is going to want them often, I'm sure! So when my $1/1 off Grands were about to expire the other day I used up all my coupons. I got a bunch for about $.50 each and they are all now living in my freezer! Yay!

Oh, I also found a good way to use crescent rolls and assorted leftovers... We have been having breakfast quiche at least one morning a week I either separate the rolls and push them into muffin pans, or I use a full sheet and push it on the bottom and around the sides of a shallow loaf pan. I then beat up a few eggs (usually 2) season them however I feel, and all in whatever leftover meats we have as well as veggies that may mix in well also. I also add in cheese to everything since we love cheese in this house! Then in the oven at 350 for however long needed and yum!

I also made crescent roll potpie the other night with leftover turkey dinner from the night before... Turkey, green bean casserole, carrots, potato and some cream of mushroom and milk... It was a loaf pan size and used one full sized (if not on sale I usually get the small packs of 4 rolls) reg. crescent rolls and 1 pack of the crescent rounds. Jeromy loved it and wanted the leftovers in his lunch today. The crescent rolls went on sale yesterday 2 for $3 and I have $1/2 coupons so I stocked up No need to worry about them going bad not frozen here!

I have some small cans of cinnamon rolls in the freezer as well. I plan on cutting them up, mixing them with toasted walnuts and dried cranberries and stuffing them into a loaf pan to make a cinnamon style monkey bread this weekend... Made this a few times now, but not with previously frozen rolls before. I am sure the frozen ones will work out just as well

A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.
--Thomas Jefferson--

You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.
