Ok, today I made peanut brittle for the first time. My dad loved it when I was young, so I made some to send to him. It was really easy to do using recipe I found on AllRecipes.com. You make it in the microwave. It was very good. I have a bunch of nuts left over from assorted recipes... All raw (pecans, walnuts, whole almonds, and slivered almonds) I looked for recipes using hem to make brittle, but none were done in the microwave... I want to make more but only in the microwave. DO you think I could just swap out the types of nuts and use the peanut brittle recipe? I know i would have to roast the raw nuts first, but that is easy to do so no problems there 1|1|you can use any type of nuts in the brittle|petunia1|sweetpea39@comcast.net|19:58:46|12/14/2009|

I have done it before without any problems

you can always make nut cluster too with melted chocolate and stir in the nut mix, drop by tsp on wax paper and let them cool til set. 2|1|I think that would be yummy! I've had cashew brittle and almond brittle...I think the only nuts I wouldnt put in it is walnuts, just doesnt sound appealing for some reason, lol|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|20:24:02|12/14/2009|

A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.

You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.
