I think she had her knee surgery this week... just wondering if anyone was in touch with her to see how it went? or maybe I missed a post here on General Chat?

surgery on Tues. Amy and the baby came up and stayed with me until Thurs night. On Fri., they sent me back to the hospital to check for a blood clot, but thankfully, not there. I had a lot of pain in my calf, still do, so very stiff and my knee is killing me. I made a BIG mistake yesterday! They told me I could drive and so I stopped at the grocery store, went to Old Navy and then stopped at Target to do the cookie deal, OMG, I was practically crawling when I got in. I am definitely better, got rid of the crutches, but only because the nurse told me to wean myself off of them, still have more pain than I am comfortable with though.
LOL, baby Anthony is so cute! On thursday he started saying he had pain in his leg and he wandered into my bedroom. Amy called him after a minute or so and he came out with 2 rolls of wrapping paper, using them like crutches.

Cathie girl...you rest and take it easy so you can get better. 5 boxes of cookies went home with Amy, LOL, from the first trip and I just could NOT resist since the $1/1 coupons were on the pkgs-- FREE after the $5 GC. Wish I did more but i just had to go home! Thanks so much, I would never have known about the deal if not for your blog!
