I had notice in the last year I had been hurting all over and in my joints especially. I even went to a rheumatologist back in July and he said I just had some osteoarthritis and put me on Celebrex. I also had noticed that sometimes I would get choked on some foods, but the night before Thanksgiving I got really choked and was holding my throat and noticed a big lump right next to my larynx. It scared me to death so on the following Monday I went to my regular doctor and she sent me that day for an ultra sound of my neck and I have a thyroid goiter. Today I am going to have a biopsy done on it. My blood pressure was thru the roof(and I have never had high BP) they say it does that and it also makes your cholesterol shoot up. Anyways I was wondering if anyone else has been through this and if they had all this pain with it. I feel horrible and so tired all the time.They had to put me on BP medication and I am sure I will have to take something for my thyroid. I just hoping that some of thee pain goes away, my neck and back hurt all the time. I would really appreicate if their is someone out there that has been thru this to let me know this is normal.The funny thing is my thyroid levels are all normal. Had the same symptoms, had it removed. And now my thyroid levels are perfect.
email me if you have any ?. I battle thyroid problems for 10 yrs. I am glad it is
over. I do have joint trouble but that is my fibromygia. I could write a book about
my health problems. :)
