go to school today..she said I've lost it!! NOW copper and bella just keep looking at me..like.."isn't it time for work"..
OK..yes it is..I have to get ready....BUT It's snowing...It's beginning to look alot like christmas...everywhere I go.. LOL

Dropped down to 20 degrees and lower here lately. I try to only run the heat in the kitchen because it is so expensive to heat this apartment, but I broke down and turned on heat in the bedrooms last night. Normally just the kitchen heat (and running the washer/dryer and baking/cooking) keeps things warm enough but we are pulling out all of the stops this week. The city owns the utilities and we pay an enormous utility tax (25%!) so I do everything I can to keep that bill under control.

My guess is it's affecting you a little earlier than me.
I spent the day finishing putting the vinyl sheeting on the inside of my windows & then did my mom's for her. As soon as I heard yesterday that parts of IA were under a Blizzard Watch, I had a sneaking hunch we'd likely get the same once it started moving into our area here. We're told to expect possibly 13" or more of snow along w/high winds w/windchill factors in the 15-20 below zero range by the time it's in full force, tonight & tomorrow. Yowza! :(

EVERYBODY is closed, even some businesses are closed or not opening til later today. Plows are having a dickens of a time keeping up cuz the wind drifts the snow back over the roads shortly after being plowed. I can barely see out my front windows due to snow being caked on them, & I'm wondering how I'm going to even get out of my house! LOL There are 4' drifts all along the front packing my exits, including the big garage door. LOL This is going to be an interesting day..... LOLOL
ETA: I'm waiting for it to get light outside so I can see just what I have to contend with.... (@^@)
