While I was at the ear specialist yesterday with the 9 yr old my 7yr old fell on the sidewalk at school and knocked loose both top teeth, put them through the top lip its awful looking and cut the top of his head open..and I did not get a phone call nor did any of my emergency contact people.... I was a little t'd.... I went in this morning and asked why there was no phone call and they said hes tough... UGH>>> Hello he is my BABY...they all are...

and I was thinking, too, that you might call someone to let them know they should have called you. Common sense should have told someone to call you, so perhaps the principal should know about this oversight?

Took him to the walk in because i could not get into family doctor he a head concussion with a small fracture on the right side of the skull and a internal bruised jaw bone.. I did contact the school principal and the superintendent this am and they acted like it was not a problem well i also contacted School Board....thankyou for the prayers

Poor guy! No big deal, huh? Two loose top teeth that cut through his lip, and a concussion. Outrageous for them NOT to call you! Its like the school has no sense. Yeah I'm sure SOME kids do lie to get to go home, but jeeze! They have to look at each situation case-by-case.
Yeah, I'd document EVERYTHING, and get in touch with a lawyer at least to get some advice. This really is outrageous.

Ask your doctor flat out of their delay in care caused your son any problems and dentally speaking, be sure to get something from your son's dentist too. Whacking teeth now can cause root reabsorption later - that's why my nearly 5 yo is missing a top tooth that will take perhaps a year to grow in.
