my husband jumped in a motel pool with all his clothes on, when our great neice got held under on her floaty, (still thanking God he saw her.) Right away you want to take the battery, and the sim card off of it. Then when we got home, hours later, we buried the whole thing,(all the parts,) in a bowl of dry white rice, 24 hours later it worked again, and it has been over a year.
