6 0|0|My Sony dvd player says "Locked." Anyone know how to unlock it?? It still works with the DVD's in it, just won't open. Any suggestions?|Ranalt|ainebailey@gmail.com|12:11:35|11/21/2009|

on the unit (not remote) and see if it clears 2|1|try unplugging it, wait a few minutes and plug back in. had to do that twice in the last 6 months with our dvd player when it wouldn't open or turn on. |turdra|tammyjoblake@hotmail.com|22:32:53|11/21/2009|

I looked it up on google. Hopefully this works! 4|1|Thanks ladies, going to try all these suggestions. I had an oops moment. I was on Refundsweepers and a fix it yourself site, and I posted here instead of there :) DVD player works except it will not open. If all else fails, I will get out my trusty all purpose tool....the butterknife :)|Ranalt|ainebailey@gmail.com|10:59:48|11/22/2009|
