2|1|PB in the traps is your best shot.. if that doesn't work try hershey syrup or the off brand stuff on top of the pb|Kristy|mi3zons1@yahoo.com|17:20:12|11/17/2009|

The Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
You'd think too since chocolate is harmful to dogs, it would easily wipe out a mouse. LOL
I don't have any in my house (not now anyway altho the evidence was here when I bought the place so "cleaned house" on 'em) but I have those darn sneaky shrews that like to be in my garage. :-p Since I have a hayfield across from me & a farm & pasture behind me, have to keep poison pellets in my garage. Have a couple feral cats around here but... :-p LOL

5|2|Glueboards aren't advised for adult mice. They feel them with their whiskers realize what it is then don't bother to get snagged.|Kristy|mi3zons1@yahoo.com|17:37:49|11/17/2009|

Mother in law told me to buy the green poision put it in the basement around a bucket half filled with water place a board on the bucket that they can climb up onto to get a drink of the water when they fall in they cant get out I am going to be trying this starting on Thrusday when I get to the store to buy the poision. I guess when they eat the stuff they get very thirsty. We shall see.|nancygal|brennansnanna@hotmail.com|19:02:17|11/17/2009|

9|2|OMG, when I lived in TN .. I put down a sticky board... mice had even eaten line in my washing machine.. anyways, I was at my sink doing dishes, the cabinet kept bumpin my leg... I'm like WTH, it had caught a snake on glue board.. that was comin in for the mice... scared me to death.. had neighbor come deal with it... garden snake or something...|car_mont|car_mont@hotmail.com|19:56:33|11/17/2009|
That snake was only "partialy" glued and the thing was down there flopping around... eeeeeeeeeewww eeeeeeeekkkkkkk 10|3|According to the pest control man...|2goatsandadove|dana@otelco.net|20:32:43|11/17/2009|
My parents had mice living under their house. Tried every poison and moustrap available and the mice kept coming back. The pest control man said the best thing is to have a cat. Sure enough, since they have had the cat, they have had no mice. We always have a few cats around our place and we have never had a mouse in the house - seen a few in the yard that attempted to get in, but they met with a terrible fate. 16|3|I hate snakes... (M)|bluh2oeyes|bluh2oeyes@yahoo.com|21:24:49|11/17/2009|
I'd a pooped if a snake were in my house! I had to kill a 4ft copperhead last summer in my back yard. He got chopped into 4 pieces with a shovel. Then I something eles ate him that night for a meal cause there wasn't anything left the next morning.
I had a mouse a few months ago...the little bugger got up inside my lower cabinets and climbed on top of the "roof" part of my lazy suzan cabinet (between the top of the cabinet and the counter top) and ate a bloody hole in the front of my cabinet frame trying to get out. The morning I discovered it I couldn't figure out why there was saw dust on my kitchen floor. Luckly you can't see it unless you bend down. Never did catch the critter...Hopefully he went to the neighbors house. He hasn't been back since I filled the pellet poision dishes back up in my crawl space.

11|1|For bait you have to use something they have to lick off. Using items they can snag and run doesn't work. |Kristy|mi3zons1@yahoo.com|20:45:01|11/17/2009|

"Women should not have children after 35. Thirty-five children are enough." - anonymous (Only 28 to GO!) 14|2|No, they don't eat cheese, they eat MY two cat's catfood WHILE the two cats WATCH. I looked at the two cats and asked what good are you, what can you do? lol. Seriously, these cats bring me dead chipmunks to the door , but in my house, they are worthless.|Ranalt|ainebailey@gmail.com|21:04:53|11/17/2009|

thank goodness but I bet if there were mice in here those poor mice would be dead. 13|1|seriously..go to a shelter and get a cat. All these other things are a short|jilda|vze4gj4m@verizon.net|20:55:51|11/17/2009|
term solution but a cat can consistently trap and kill the mice.
Maybe get two? :) 15|2|I had mice years ago in my house 1 winter, never had mice before that I got a cat..problem solved no more mice come near my house now.|HONEY11|HONEY1@AMERITECH.NET|21:13:52|11/17/2009|

17|3|Yup! You can give a shelter cat a good home and you have him earn his room and board by cleaning up |jilda|vze4gj4m@verizon.net|21:46:54|11/17/2009|
the rodent problem. With all the coupons you can get for cat food and litter...the cost of the cat would probably equal the cost of traps, poisons, etc. ALso peace of mind is a wonderful thing. Knowing your little cat is taking care of the problem. :) 19|3|I'm going right out and tell my worthless cats what you ladies said|LindaOh|Martinl3@roadrunner.com|21:52:38|11/17/2009|
we have 2 cats who love to kill the pretty birds but still have mice every once in a while.I hate to put poison out because of the smell, my daughter said she read this is how to trap them its guarantee to work take a small piece of bacon and microwave it for a couple of seconds then tie it on supposedly they love it, sometimes it works for me sometimes not.Next time I'm going to try the chocolate syrup on peanut butter, also something I read is to put mint in drawers they don't like the smell if you have problem with them getting in cabinet drawers Linda 22|4|Mint thing is bogus... |Kristy|mi3zons1@yahoo.com|22:14:43|11/17/2009|
"Women should not have children after 35. Thirty-five children are enough." - anonymous (Only 28 to GO!) 25|4|I am with you Linda. I don't use poisons. We live in an old lakehouse, so as soon as I finally figure out how the mice are getting in, they find a new spot. We now live trap them and take them down to woods down the street.|Ranalt|ainebailey@gmail.com|22:20:44|11/17/2009|
My cats kill the chipmunks, birds, baby rabbits, etc, but not the mice in the house.
