I have just been asked by a friend who's brother is very sick if I could start saving pop tabs off soda cans, beer cans and soup cans for them. I was wondering if anyone has any they are not using and would like to donate them to me for him. The postage wouldn't be very much since they are light weight. Laura (my friend) can pay postage and I am going to try and help pay postage also. We are tying to collect as many as we can by the January 10th
You will be dealing with me so you do not have to worry about getting the postage.

But, my friend "called em" first...
She saves them for her diabetic friend ...who can get a discount on her diabetic testing strips (not sure how that works?) for turning in the tabs.
So, I've been saving mine for her...since last summer.
Just wondering what your friend gets in exchange for the tabs? (What medical discount, I mean?)
*I'm just a nosy nurse. lol
And just an idea....
Do you have a recycling redemption center in your area?
Maybe you could ask if you could drop in some afternoon and take some tabs for a few hours?
If they agree to allow you to do that.....make sure you bring a team! LOL!!
Grab the kids and some friends and make the most of it!
The more hands.....the more tabs!!
