I'll try to get this right, I dont use a recipe, like alot of the things I make I just put stuff in as I go until it's right, lol.
Tater Tot Casserole
1 lb ground beef, browned with 1 medium onion chopped, and drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup of cubed Velveeta
1/2 cup of milk
pepper to taste (maybe 1/4 tsp?)
cooked veggies of choice---I usually add canned green beans or corn (drained well) or sometimes I add frozen mixed veggies that are thawed out.
1 2lb bag of tater tots (keep frozen)
Spray 4 qt casserole dish or a 8X11 pan with nonstick spray. In a small saucepan, mix together the milk, soup, pepper and Velveeta, cook on medium until cheese is melted and it is well-blended. Stir sauce into ground beef/onion mixture.
Stir in veggies. Pour this into the casserole dish/pan, top with about 2/3 of the bag of tater tots, make sure the surface is covered well.
Bake at 375 for about 45 mins or so until it is bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown. Enjoy! :D
