Yesterday my husband was informed that he may have a collapsed lung and we are going to his pcp today for a 2nd opinion. We believe what the DOT Dr. saw on his chest x-ray is actually lung loss due to his bout with pnemonia last year as he is not in pain and everything we've read about collaped lungs states that he probably should be. In any case, please pray that all is well for him and us. Thank you.

We are still waiting for the results from the radiologist but we won't have those until next week as they are waiting on the previous x-rays to arrive so they can compare them. All the PCP saw on the xrays were the 2 spots from when he had pneumonia and she ran some breathing tests and all is fine (at least for the moment). It is possible there is some other lung damage but we'll have to wait to hear that. Thanks so much for all of your prayers and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

The spots seen on the x-ray are, indeed, from his prior bout with pneumonia. There is no "progression" of the spots and therefore nothing is wrong. They even evaluated his heart and all is fine.
