Last I read, 450,000-500,000 confirmed cases, and as this report states, 93 deaths.
I also read several articles that said that forced vacinations are being considered there as well as martial law (one article went so far as to say that martial law has been put in place, but I'm not sure how reliable that is)

Usually, mutations in viruses occur as a survival mechanism due to vaccination or other sources of elimination. To me, this is just more propaganda with all this swine flu hysteria and vaccinations these past few months. I really believe they just pick a high random number to put more fear and panic to the masses and to have them get the shot. This H1N1 flu supposedly is a weak strain, otherwise people would be dropping like flies. The last pandemic was the Hong Kong Flu which I had in 68', my school was closed for a week because half the kids were out. And we didn't get a shot then either. JMHO - Sharon:)
