Some exciting events hapening at 2 of my WalMart stores coming soon!! On 10/30 at the supercenter in Lansdowne, we have a performance by gospel artist KEVIN LEVAR. Not sure of the time, I will let you know when I get the rest of the details. Then on 11/11 at the Dundalk WalMart we have a book signing by...STEPHEN KING!!!! That takes place at 6 p.m. Only 400 customers with assigned wristbands will have their copy of his new book "Under the Dome" with receipt signed. A line will form at 7 a.m. for the the wristbands on that morning. There will be local and national media for this event!! Please contact me if you need anymore details! It's going to be an exciting fall for WalMart and Anderson Merchandisers!!

after finding out Sun I can't get the pre order price thru WM because the state of Oklahoma has some weird restriction...I decide to just wait and get it today. Spent the whole day cleaning/organizing and decided to reward myself by getting the box and spending the rest of the evening with it. Well, I get to the WM that's 2 minutes away from my house. No book in site.....ask some employees.....no one has a clue.....ask the manager..if it's not on end cap it's not out yet...I could have strangled them. Got home, called a different WM about 10 miles away.....asked the guy in electronics if he knew about the new SK book out.....He knew the name and the price. So, now I need to decide if I feel like going out again.........grrr

awful! I have read every single one of his books. I have LOVED many of them and actually have hated many. Hated: Tommyknockers, Desperation, Lisey's Story,
Most LOVED: IT, The Shining, Tons of short stories, all the Dark Tower series, I'm sure there are more.
So it's up to you guys to let me know if it's worth my effort.

It seems like it's going to be similar to The Stand, a bunch of people involved in a tragedy with the whole good vs. evil thrown in. But, that's cool because The Stand is one of my favorites from SK.
I think I have read almost all of his books...not The Dark Towers series (just couldn't get into it, dh loved it) and not all of the short stories. I didn't care for Lisey's Story too much either.

Years ago I read one of her books, "The Trap" and thought it was very well written. I think her mind is also a bit of a strange place to visit, so I suspect they keep each other entertained.
