I don't know the details of this story, but I think, in general, there is way too much quiet desperation out there, due to the current economic times. AND, it is worsened by the approach of the "holiday season". There needs to be more support for people "on the edge", especially to prevent the escalation of domestic violence. PLEASE support your local shelters, even if it is just with your TIME. So many need "someone to talk to" worse than anything else!

Just saw this on comcast.net and cannot believe how often this is happening... I don't know what the motives are in these cases but I agree that people need help. It is hard for some people to admit to stress/problems and seek out someone with whom to talk.
