4 0|0|anyone ever have this happen with Ebay? (more)|sarahjones|s.scottjones@comcast.net|06:56:12|11/04/2009|
So I bought these boots for my girls on Ebay and the shipping said 7.50 in the auction twice and on both of them. Well I got the statement saying please pay within 3 days or you will have negative feedback. I emailed them 2 times for a total one in their email and also one with both auctions saying I need a total for these. I was actually hoping to get a discount( shipping) for them since they are both being shipped to the same house and can fit in one box.
No response period:( I am kinda bummed I would never have bid on them like I did if I knew they were gonna change the shipping on me which I think they have to go by what it says in the auction. In all my years of doing ebay I do not have problems hope I can resolve this one. I really got a good deal on them which was $16 for both pairs of NWT boots BUT if it cost $24 shipping not so much:(
1|1|I don't think the seller is 'required' to combine shipping, plus it's too bad you couldn't find out before bidding to see if he/she combined shipping....|SandyC|sacoates1@msn.com|07:29:11|11/04/2009|
by Ask Seller A Question.
I myself, as a seller, tried changing the amount thru paypal on the invoice after the auction(s) were over, and it would not let me! The buyer paid full amount, and I gave her small refund for the combining of shipping total off.
Gee, I hope that made sense!

2|2|I just heard from her and although I know its not required to lower shipping for multiple items I thought it would not hurt to ask;) And she had meant to make it $12 shipping for both and it did each so she changed it and all is well:) Glad it was so easy to take care of it all:)|sarahjones|s.scottjones@comcast.net|08:03:59|11/04/2009|
Sarah S. Jones 3|3|that's great Sarah....it really would have been poor business on her part to not give you |kellysp6637|frugalk76@aol.com|08:10:31|11/04/2009|
combined shipping...plus it makes less work on her part if she puts it in one box and ships to one address... 4|4|Glad it worked out (m)|Beaglesfly|lmllr77@aol.com|08:18:19|11/04/2009|
By the way, sellers can't give buyers negative feedback anymore. They're not even allowed to post a positive and then put something negative in the comments field.
They can ask that a buyer be given a nonpaying strike, but strikes don't have much consequences these days.
