we have to leave in 30 minutes...she's already tried on several outfits, did her hair 3 different ways..
OMG...I have to admit though...she's actually not complaining she hates pictures.. but she hated this years
school pictures, so she's letting me get them done at portrait innovations where we can see them all and
get them today..so i'm happy about that..I hate waiting for pictures!!
hopefully it won't be too busy...SHE hates to waits, hates crowds...and doesn't like anyone watching her...LOL
wait..she's 13..maybe it was better when she was 3....LOL

I had to laugh because I just had a big struggle with Miss G (3) who would not wear polka dot pants, yellow pants, jeans, pink sweats or black leggings. She finally agreed to purple pants but only after an excruciating pause. Interestingly she does not fight me on shirts. She will wear whatever top I pull out, but pants are always a fight. Lucky for me she has no interest in hair yet, but she is very up on the latest in makeup (thanks 15 yr old sister!), so she will regale you with what color of lip gloss you should wear. She cannot understand why I do not wear makeup and really does not understand why I won't let her wear makeup.

I really wanted to buy all of them.. they take like 60 pictures and then you have to narrow them down.
I was like awww...awww.. haley walked away..>LOL i wanted them all. So,I am really really happy with them.
I'll try to scan them so I can post them. my baby is growing up..
and then we went to the parent/teacher conference... and they had the students write a letter to the parent...
now let me tell you...I almost didn't make it..I was thinking about my ex husband...my store list...bills...i really
almost didn't make it..I could feel my lip quiver..LOL and then the teacher says....mom..you've done a great job with
this one.. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I am so proud of her. all of her teachers gave her excellent reviews...they
said she was a delight to have in their class....and well...sigh....I am really lucky..she's a good girl!!! the letter from haley starts
out.. "Mom, i know i don't say this enough, but thank you for being you"....and thanks for taking the time to study with me,
to help me with reports and stuf...it just went on and on..and it was so nice...SIGH
so we had a great day..weather sucked..cold and rainy.. but we really had a great mom/daughter day!!
did some shopping..got a bite to eat...got pictures taken....parent/teacher day..and OH..i almost forgot..we got her
ears pierced again.. we were walking thru the mall and haley's like..can i get my ears done again...I had her first ears
pierced when she was only 2 weeks old, and I"m like..sure let's do it now..and then she was like..what? I'm like come
on lets do it now..so we did!! so we did alot today!! :) AND it was fun!!
