My mom starts radiation tomorrow. We thought she was going to have 4 wks or treatments
but found out today she will have to have 33 treatments. She was crying at the cancer center
today. Please pray and if you will send her a card.

Mom has received 3 cards.Thanks so much. You have no idea how they cheer her up.
Whenever dad or I take her, we stop on the way back and ck her mailbox. The first thing

Again thanks, I never knew this, the radiation dr said that
half way through the treatments people actually get
radiation blues. Lord I hope she doesn't.

They get tired and things start to show more: hair loss, aching joints, dry skin, loss of appetite. stock up on unsented stuff and unflavored toothpaste (no mint), wipes for the tussie, Immodium, calming/soothing lotions. Lemon candy actually works well for the nausea.
