Hello players! The 14th round is now over. There are now (27) players for the next round.
Not only am I a picky eater, but I'm really anal about going to a fast-food place (especially a drive-thru), placing an order a specific way...and then finding out that the order was not made correctly. I usually didn't realize the problem until I was well on the way home. But don't think that I didn't turn around, return to the place, and share with someone on duty what was on my mind. Now I simply don't move my truck from the drive-thru window. I sit there and check my order to ensure it was made correctly.
Most fast-food companies's drive-thru operations are on a timer system. From the time the customer places the order through the speaker box to the time they grab their order from the thrusting hands of the window employee -- timers record how long it took to do all that. The quicker the better, according to their fast-food policies. Wendy's and I are locked in consumer combat, but that is another story. Anyhow, the longer I sit at their window checking my food (or whatever), the more time is wasted, resulting in bad efficiency scores, which is what eventually filters down to the crew members. Some cashiers have had the nerve to tell me to move along...(they mention they are on a timer)...but I just smile and tell them that I don't work there and that I'm NOT on a timer, and that their timers don't concern me. I am checking my order. See what happens after years of demanding that my orders be made correctly? Now, I arrive at a fast-food place filled with skepticism over the probable low odds of me getting away from the place with a correctly-made order.
My favorite burger place is BURGER KING! I've eaten Whoppers since I was but a wee child (back in the 70s). The taste of their flame-broiled burgers impart a nice, broiled, smokey taste. Believe it or not, Wendy's runs a close second for burger selection. So, BURGER KING it is!
