the company that I phoned, said to send them copies of all my credit card statements!!! I have a bad feeling about that. Then whoever this is, will have all my credit card numbers! Can this be right? There is SO much going on these days about people being swindled out of their money! I would rather erron the side of caution. But then I need to do "something"!! I have lost more than 3/4 of my income:(

this sounds like a scam to me no way would I give them my credit card numbers, this is probably some person in India at one of those internet cafe.Linda 7|1|My advice - call a bankruptcy attorney and ask them to recommend some legit companies to you. After the Bankrutpcy laws changed a few years ago, consumer debt counseling became mandatory. This is through the United States Bankruptcy Court and all of these companies have to pass the standards the Court set to be approved for the list. That way you know they are legit.
