I've never seen anything like it. You can't open the doors without getting bombarded with the things. I've had the shopvac inside all day sucking the pains in the butt up. They are everywhere. You drive down the road & it's like a slaughter house with them smacking the windshield. I was outside trying to sweep as many off the front door as I could & it sounded like I was walking on crackers. It's unreal. I called my mom & she says she has them bad too & my daughter said her deck is covered with them. I can't believe this, what a mess. Have no idea what to do, sprayed the doors but it didn't do any good, killed a million of them only to have another million come back to settle on doors again.

You evidently drop however many tablets of it into water w/a sprayer & spray all along your house, deck, etc. They supposedly drop off like flies. Since I don't have them that bad I haven't tried the stuff myself yet but have heard of others using it w/really good results.

If you vacuum them up, make sure to burn or permanently dispose of them, if they're still alive, cuz they'll crawl right back out.

I did not want to kick him(tho i could have) he finally reappeared as i was getting dinner fixins, and looked like he wanted to come in....which i was not in the mood for.....told hubby i needed him to be a man....I trapped him under a small container(told ya he was slllllooooowwwww) and hubby shot him with the bb gun....i had to pick him up, but hubby took the trash out....

my brother went thru the lady bug thing a few years back-was really wild. Of course, his happened on a day he had all the windows open, with no screens in, as he had been staining the trim work....that was what made it really bad...LOL 8|5|OMG shooting a mouse I thought we were the only ones lol|teener|teenerzacsneenee@yahoo.com|20:22:11|10/20/2009|

Stuffed a cloth in the end of the vac to keep them in. Yep these things bite, they stain & they stink. I've never had problems before, but I knew my mom & sister did. My aunt was trapping them & flushing them down toilet & they just sat in pipe until it plugged completely up. Septic guy told her not to flush them anymore as that is what they do. I had so many in bathroom window it was covered. I've had it with these things, only thing I can say is I've sure got rid of a lot of cobwebs LOL!!!

I don't think the dogs will eat these things. Not sure though, as Charlie is a bottomless cocker spaniel who is gaining about 6 to 7 lb. a month according to the vet, he now weighs around 15 lb.. Then we have Kujo our minature Chihauha who is suppose to weigh no more than 3 lb., well he weighs in at around 5 now. What can I say, I feed them good!!! I also have a black lab outside that weighs in around 40 lb. at about 4 mo, so he's going to be an elephant. We have an 80 lb. beagle also. Anyone need some chunky dogs???

I've had them all my life & they're the bossiest, sassiest, sneakiest, funniest & most lovable little stinkers. LOL The one I currently have is a Chihuahua/Terrier cross who has her nose in EVERYTHING I do, hogs my bed/pillow/covers, drags out all her toys & then leaves them sit, pesters me for treats, trashes ALL tissue, tears a$$ around the house & trashes my clipped coupons & refunding forms (if I'm working on the floor), snitches my son's dirty socks, jumps on the bed & pulls on the sheets when I'm trying to make my bed & hogs my heating pad. But I wouldn't trade her for ANYTHING in this world cuz she's the smartest little fart who licks my tears when I cry, makes me laugh til I just about pee my pants on days I don't even feel like smiling, & I love her dearly! :)

Even if him & Charlie have chewed everything up that they could get ahold of including the cord to my new electric lounge chair. Luckily, it could be fixed. They get into everything, tear everything up, rip the diapers off the 21 mo. old, get in the fridge when you open it, run off when they get out the door, haul off the laundry, tear everything out of the waste baskets & run this house, they are my babies!!! Farts are to good of names for these two,

When the soybean harvesting begins, it kicks out all the Asian beetles. :( Glad I have a hayfield across from me & mostly cornfields & just fields behind me. :)
Some people around here are reporting swarms of them covering the outside of their houses. I use hairspray on the few I've had here. A little squirt & the bugger's stiff as a board. NO escape! :)

Or at least inhibited their livelihood, but it doesn't appear the frost had much of an impact on them. :-p But I think it might've nailed the boxelder bugs cuz I've only seen 1 of them (knocking on wood).
The Asian beetles get kicked out of the soybean fields & then set about trying to get in all the little cracks & crevices of your house to hole up for winter.
Why couldn't there still be just the tame tobacco fields like there used to be. Worst thing that ever came out of those fields were a few field mice & an occasional garter snake.

They're kind of a cross between a mouse & a hamster, dark gray w/short tails. They're peskier than mice & more resilient. Mouse traps don't do any good as they manage to get out of those or will take the whole trap w/them. Hated to do it but had to put out bags of poison in my garage cuz if they get in your vehicles, they'll chew up the wires, plug up hoses & whatever else their little hearts desire to wreak havoc.

I was looking out my window yesterday about 3:15 PM watching the kids come from school (not mine), and all of a sudden I had to close my window. Out of no where there were what seemed like a million ladybugs. I had to get rid of some that had come in before I closed it.

I thought I was seeing things, but my son got home and said that he saw millions of them. And this morning, there seems to be hundreds of birds in the trees outside. There are usually a few, but you can't even see the leaves in the trees due to the birds. What the heck is going on. Geez
