We're not 'allowed' to use the heat as the furnace wasn't serviced. She was supposed to be taking care of it but it will be too late. So I've been using the oven about half of the day. Aamazing what you can bake to help heat the house LOL. I put the ingredients in the bread maker so we'll have fresh bread. I wanted something easy for dinner and bakeable so Stouffer's Lasagna. And a double batch of brownies rounds out the dinner.

Got ready-made brats & saurkraut that the grocery store was having. :) Went to the Farmer's Market this morning & altho the Amish are there usually selling alot of baked goods, they didn't have any pies today. Poop! Got some good deals on garden-fresh produce tho: potatoes, onions, acorn squash, 3 lb. bag of big golden delicious apples for only $2 (the 5 lb. bags were only $3!), garlic bulbs & radishes that are as big as lemons! :) Some venders were quite high on their prices but others were very reasonable. And it was SO cold this morning.
We live in the Land of the Free only because of the Brave!
