My mother-in-law has been in ICU for over three weeks. Her condition is deteriorating rapidly. She had asked that no measures be taken to sustain her life, but her huband assured the doctors she was not thinking clearly and orders have been written to put her on a permanent ventilator. This has created friction between my husband and his father. Mother -in-law is at peace and says she is tired of fighting. She has spent the last 12 years of her live almost totally confined to her home. She has been on oxygen and receives kidney dialysis daily. If she is placed on a vent, she will live the remainder of her life bedridden. As of today, she is unresponsive and is struggling to breathe. Without Divine intervention, she will not recover. She needs your prayers. My husband needs your prayers that he may find comfort at this difficult time. I cannot be with him at the hospital to offer support, as I have come down with a nasty virus and we are being careful that he doesn't get it, or he will not be allowed to be with his mother during her final days. My 10 year old daughter is hurting. She is too young to visit her grandmother. She knows the condition is critical. She needs prayers for strength. Thank you all for taking the time to remember us when you pray.

please check with your hospital, since things are at the end they may allow your daughter to see her grandmother. ask to see the social worker, hospitals have special allowences for families in this type of situation. just explain she wants to see her grandmother before she is vented.
