After all we've been through the guy couldn't get his loan. So by the end of October we have to be out of this house and have it spotless.

that I can afford and we 'own' by paying our monthly mortgage. But I just can't seem to bring myself around to it. This house that we are living now was everything I dreamed. Lots of trees, a big yard for my kids, a quiet neighborhood and no shared walls. I know I'm having a pity party but I just cant' seem to stop. The townhouse we own is a three bedroom. It's so tiny. We figured it out once the backyard there is 1/19 of the yard here. The smallest bedroom is like 9x11 or something insane. By the time you put a bed in there's not even room for a dresser. I know more whine.

I know you love the house you're currently in & you feel it's perfect for your family. But there is some reason it was not meant to be. Hopefully you'll one day find out what it is or maybe you never will, but I believe there is another, better house out there waiting for you. Keep the faith & don't give up cuz like Joy said, trust in Him as He'll lyk when the time & place is right. ;)
It took 15 yrs. for me to get my house & I didn't think it would EVER happen. I'd struggled financially for so many yrs. that I think I started getting used to it (LOL) & on top of it, I had to fight tooth & nail w/a nasty landlord for the last 3 of those yrs. Then things finally started to turn around for me, financially & otherwise. This house had been on the market for over a year, sitting empty for most of that time. It was the 1st house I looked at & altho I fell in love w/it & the location immediately, I looked around at others, weighing all the options, pros & cons of each one. Sure, there were a couple of others I really liked but there was usually a reason they didn't quite feel right - no/partial basement, higher property tax, too small or too big, etc. My son didn't really like it at all at 1st - he thought it was too small - & it definitely needed some things done (furnace, hot water heater were on the way out, old/yellow stove & sink in kitchen worked fine but were an eye-sores, white carpet in living room TOO dangerous, red/black carpet in my bedroom & dark green carpet in my son's bedroom were NOT our colors of choice, c/a went kaput, old/water guzzling plumbing fixtures, no raingutters in back/no downspouts in front, mouse chews/poop in cupboards, etc.). But I seen all the potential it had, all the things I could easily change/fix. The foundation is solid & it wasn't run-down so that was the main thing - just needing some TLC & updates. I'm only the 3rd owner w/the 2 previous owners being elderly couples who likely weren't able to do many of those things, be it due to their age or limited incomes, but still tried to keep the basics maintained, clean w/no damages. I swear the house was calling out to me. LOL Then there were other people who were looking at it while I had to deal w/all the paperwork just to get the ball rolling for ANY house, & I cried fearing someone else would get it before me. I thought, 'Ok. If someone else gets it, there's nothing I can do about it & I guess it's meant to be'. But I also thought, 'If it waits for me, then that too is meant to be'.
I grew up living in a house located directly on the highway so lots of traffic all the time. That house had a big picture window in the living room & there was a manhole cover on the highway that would make a loud kabang everytime a big truck drove over it. My house here has a big picture window in the living room & is located directly on a well-traveled side road. When I look out my front windows, I have a birdseye view of my mom's mobile home & of course, there's the added bonus of good neighbors on each side of me & the wild critters. LOL Some people hate the thought of all that traffic noise but I slept like a baby the 1st night we stayed here. LOL And then of all things... I was outside one day shortly after we moved & altho I just about jumped out of my skin, I started to cry cuz all of a sudden, a big truck went by & I heard this loud kabang. I hadn't noticed it but lo & behold there is a manhole cover on the road right by the end of my drivway! LOL I cried because I realized I really had come full circle, & I was SOOOO grateful for all the things that seemed to just fall into place - the timing, the house itself & its location, the picture window, traffic & even that stupid manhole cover. There was a reason for it all, just as there's a reason for you Kristy. :)
