I went to Walgreens yesterday with my mom. I had a coupon for 'buy 4 diet pepsi 12 pk, get 1 free'. When I got to the check-out, the diet pepsi 12 pack was $4.99!!!!!! I almost pooped my pants!
I was with mom and I did not want to argue or put them back, etc (Mom can not stand very long) and since we will drink it (pretty much all hubby drinks) I paid and took them out to the car.
At the highest,I have seen pepsi 12 packs like $3.60-ish, and on sale for $2.50. I have seen pepsi cases $6.30-ish, and on sale for $4.50. Did the price jump that much or ????
Also, do you think I would be able to get a price adjustment if pepsi goes 'on sale' in the next couple of weeks, or should I call corporate and complain about over-pricing?
Any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated!
