Hi: It will be a buffet in the evening, but that's all we know for sure. What is THE most popular, well-liked, food at a reception?? We are on a limited budget, but we want the best we can afford.

it was very nice 4|1|All of the buffet style receptions I have been to have a beef dish (roast beef) and a chicken dish (usually baked or roasted chicken)....the sides vary, mashed/gravy, roasted or parsleyed potatoes, 2 vegetables, rolls/butter, tossed salad with a couple different dressings.....that's the standard around here it seems like. I booked a restaurant with all you can eat BBQ buffet. This is something you could also do at home. We had:
ribs
chicken
sausage
corn on the cob
cornbread
baked beans
cole slaw
ice tea in glass jars
and of course wedding cake for dessert. It was great!

Chicken, Hot Dogs, Hamburgs, Macaroni Salad, Potato Salad, Baked Beans and more, but if you are getting married in Feb, that won't be possible unless you live in CA LOL

the wedding was small( very) I wanyed a rectangle cake on the bottome and a smaller one on top they don't make them the lady said so I bought a half sheet and then got a 1/4 sheet and put that on top and then got whipped cream on them both they made it pretty with colored piping and it was delish
