I accidentally paid my Chase card 1 day late. Usually the payment is on the 28th but was on the 27th for some reason this time. Anyway they are charging me 29.99 and I talked to several people, lots of supervisors and they all said no waiving the fee. I have always been able to wave fees in such a circumstance. I haven't done this in years. I am shocked at how strict they are. Had to vent. Carol 1|1|Oh that is stinky!|sunriver|lithiasalt@cheerful.com|17:49:13|09/28/2009|

I'm sorry they are being like that. That is one steep late feet (my funny typo which I caught and decided to leave because it made me laugh!-- I mean FEE) too.

... 3|1|And you know, the credit card companies really have us by the short hairs anymore....raising interest rates, imposing more costly fees....and as the CUSTOMER, if we cancel the card due to dissatisfaction with their service, our credit ratings pay the price :( |saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|18:53:26|09/28/2009|

A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.
--Thomas Jefferson--

You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

~Abraham Lincoln
