Today is Rick's 44th birthday!!!! It has been almost 3 years since his diagnosis of cancer.He was given 9 months to live and he is still with us.
We have just been through another scare and he had a mass taken out of his lung.The mass was benign but he has not bounced back as well as he has other times.BUT I will take anything we get as along as he is still here.
Rick goes back to Baltimre on Monday to see his oncologist.I would appreciate any and all prayers that it is somehting simple for his fatigue and trouble breathing.
Cancer is such a draining thing both physically and emotionally.Travelling form North carolina to Baltimore to have his treatment is hard.But he has to do this because he has no medical insurance and the cancer hospital in North Carolina will not treat him because he has no insurance.(great,huh?!)
Oh,well,we do what we have to these days.My refunding pays for his travelling money and other expenses.I am so glad I can at least do that for Rick.

http://www.adrenalfatigue.org/ --- this site talks about stress (such as cancer, for example) and its effects on your body. The guy is a natureopath (and chiropractor) and I did just finish his book. It talks about things you can do to support your adrenals so they can rest and help keep your body working as it should. Simple things like taking vitamins, eating the right foods at the right time may make a difference. Often people who stress out their adrenals have a harder time bouncing back from things. I found his book at my local library and it is just 10 bucks on Amazon.
