10 0|0|Dumb question but do Huggies pull ups hold liquid like diapers?|slimnlady|slimnlady@aol.com|16:18:42|09/20/2009|

I was going to get my 2 1/2 year old son these because he keeps taking off his diapers under his clothes. Do they work the same as diapers? My older son never went to these so I don't know. PLMK and thanks bunches for any info. Carol 1|1|Sorry I can't help, but... WOW! He is already 21/2! Time sure does fly!|RobinsCrazyWorld|robinmarie72@gmail.com|18:23:04|09/20/2009|

Huggies are easier to tear off, though, because they have like a velcro-ey thing on the sides. Pampers Pull ups pull up lie diapers. I've used Walgreens brand the past two times without problems.

Huggies are also part of the caregiver market place promo too and I am pretty sure Riteaid has a promo this month for them.

He did it to pull ups too. So my daughter just put on regular underware, he was broke in no time. He didn't like feeling wet anymore. 6|3|yep! took pj 1 time of wetting himself to got tinkle inthe potty. now for stinky he'd ask for a diaper so we would allow him to have a pullup. that lasted for about 4 months and then he finally pottied int he toilet. hth :)|pussecat|pu55ecat@aol.com|13:25:11|09/21/2009|

He's slow like my older son was. My oldest didn't start talking till practically 3 and I mean nothing, then you couldn't shut him up--lol. I'm going to give Adam a little more time until the potty training, but soon. Thanks so much for all the good advice though, I do appreciate it. Carol 10|6|Pj was "slow" too but not for potty training, he was tinkle potty trained by the time he was 1 1/2 and stinky potty trained by the time he was 3|pussecat|pu55ecat@aol.com|14:23:03|09/22/2009|

just because he's "slow" in other areas doesn't mean he'd be slow in this area.............. try it carol, try big boy underpants for a week and see what happens. take him to walmart to pick a pack out........... thomas the train, spiderman, cars, something he likes and just see what happens. it certainly can't hurt. ;)

My oldest two (twins) went through a phase where they took off their diapers in the morning before we got them out of their room. We cured that by wrapping some clear packing tape around the top of the diaper to cover the tabs. Just use scissors to cut the tape (or tear the side) when changing. It's kind of a pain, but at least you can use the diapers you already have. The phase didn't last too long, either.
