The Great Value brand was 97cents forever....last year went up to around $1.17 or so....crept up to about $1.24 or $1.27....now it's $2.50!

Hubby works for Target Dist. and they have had a horrible time finding help. Have had to have 3-4 additional mass hirings bc no one is applying to work there; and they pay a nice wage for the area I live in. Other places are hiring here as well- some yucky, some good but good paying for this area anyhow. Then we have the constant at the low paying fast food joints too but I know in some areas of the country, people would be fighting to work at McD's to just have a job.
Hopefully things turn around soon for everyone else. Otherwise, you will have to move to Iowa *(but I warn you, we have no doubles here.)
