If you want to add a 2nd car to your policy does the title have to be in your name? If you want to add a kid to your policy does his name or your name have to be on the title?

In my state a minor child under the age of 18 can have their name on the vehicle title but a parent or legal guardian has to have their name listed as the "co-signer" on the title.
