Personally and my opinion, I was a bit disappointed. The only thing that kept me watching last night was the fact that Mr. West was going to be on and I wanted to see if he'd actually show up and what the audience's response would be. That's the only thing that saved the show in my opinion and of course they hadn't planned on West making a fool of himself at the awards show the night before.. I think Jay's monologue sucked and c'mon... they couldn't get anybody better then Jerry Seinfeld for their first guest? I have loved the Jay Leno show for years but i'm not so sure it's gonna be worth it for me to stay up till 10pm or to miss the 10pm news for his show.. Hope it's better tonight.. MY OPINION

I noticed that when he was making his apology, he wouldn't even look up at Jay or the audience, not make eye contact. This has nothing to do with Jay's show, just an observation

I think this is a new move for Jay that may take some getting used to. He's on 90 minutes earlier than before which impacts what he can and cannot do. We'll see. I like Jerry Seinfield...and the bit with Oprah was kindof cute too.....however....I have NO respect what-so-ever for Kanye West....and it sickened me that he actually even tried to allude that the reason he acted so bad was because he hasn't dealt with his mother's death...are you KIDDING ME?????? I'm sorry, but it's time for our society to STOP making excuses for bad behavior....there was NO excuse for what he did to Taylor.....or anyone for that matter....and while I'm on a tear about him.....I find it even MORE reprehensible that he can totally get by with his racist attitude towards white people and nobody calls him on it....seriously......I find this man an utter disgust....
As for the music of the show...I love Rihanna, I think she's talented and beautiful...but the music (if you can call it that) was HORRID....seriously....so bad that I had finally had to turn it off.....

I'm sorry, MY opinion here, I gave Jay the benefit of the doubt and tuned it to his second show. I turned it off after Tom Cruz and Cammeron. The questions were lame and THEY were lame. None of the first half hour was funny or at least let me just say that I miss the old Jay Leno show.. He just doesn't seem to be the same person to me.. I'm gonna give me the "3 Strikes You're Out!" thing though.
As for Mr. West, now if it had been someone else, I wonder if people would be so forgiving? Did you hear that our President called him an "Ass"?
