problem is girlie, I am one of those cooks who put the pot on the stove,throw in all the stuff and walla ! LOL... always turns out Yummy.
I get into trouble though because I'll go to a party or gathering and people want the recipe and I am like...uhhh..Ummmm...LOL..
here is what I threw into the pot tonight:
Chicken Pasta Soup:
Saute large chicken breast chopped in 1 tsp Olive oil until cooked
add 1 large chopped Spanish onion (the red ones) & saute til slightly tender
add 6 cups water
4 chicken bullion cubes
ground pepper
tsp Basil
bring to boil
add 1 large carrot chopped
1 large piece celery chopped
chopped celery leaves (I use the inside ones from the middle of the stalk)
reduce heat and simmer 45 mins
add tbsp Parsley
1/2 lb assorted pastas (I used the wacky Mac tonight since I had it leftover and it was an assortment)
cook til tender, approx 15 mins - dont overcook , leave pasta slighlt dente so it's not mushy
add 1 cup frozen corn (or whatever corn you have)
stir togeher until heated through

p.s. season as you like, careful adding salt as the bullion is already salty
