Does anyone have any good ideas that are affordable? My colors are Red/Black/and White

Our flower lady is being really difficult, and keeps changing prices and they seem outrageous to me! 1|1|floating candles or float flowers..|noway|stormybizzles@yahoo.com|06:40:41|09/03/2009|

in water in clear vases or basins..cheap and affordable supplies for that can be found at walmart or Target. Another idea is candy in clear glasses and vases with little scoops and bags, think old fashioned candy shop. 5|2|floating flowers/candles are elegant and simple! I love seeing that at a reception....and another thing to do to really give it spark is to put a piece of mirrored glass underneath (like maybe 10"x10" or 12" square)....scatter some confetti shapes (you could pick up your colors using black, white and red confetti shapes) on the glass, then the bowl with the floating candles/flowers/both....|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|19:58:27|09/03/2009|

Some ideas on the confetti shapes---red could be little hearts, black could be something simple like dots or diamond shapes, and white could be the opposite (like if you use black dots, do white diamond shapes...) Or keep it really simple and just do the same shape in three colors :)

If either of you collects anything you can personalize the tables by compiling baskets full of like minded things. This would work well for smaller less formal weddings and can be a lot of fun. 3|1|A wedding I catered recently, Had Pictures of the Bride and Groom Groeing up, their rngagement etc..... I bought some of the shorter wider fish bowls for I belive $2.99 a piece at walmart. Then I purchased on ebay plastic floating candles that you can fill with colored oil ( i used black as my weddding colors were black and white) I used 3 per bowl. then around the bowls I scattered black rose petals. I got a ton of compliments on how nice and pricey they looked. I think I spent like $40 for all the candles and the oil and the bowls were $2.99 each . I had 16 centerpieces and it ended up costing me a little under $100 for all the tables. Not sure if that is in your price range but just a suggestion :)

I don't really have a prices range I just don't want to shell out like $50/table for flowers when there are 13 tables! Thanks for the ideas. I do appreciate them.
