ok im in a mood all i want to do is cry i did lock myself in the bathroom for a little while and do just that but i cant do it for to long because of the kids. Well let me tell you what has brought all this on. In the past few days i have had so much happen. I know i have so much to be thankful for i mean look what i have gotten accomplished in my life since i have left my ex-husband but it just seems like the walls are crashing in around me right now and they are crashing hard...
Ok first my oldest DD's father i have not heard from him in Oh i dont even know how long it has been at least 12 years she is 15 years old and she doesnt know him. Anyway he HAD been paying childsupport that is what i was living on while i was searching for a job anyway i get a letter in the mail from his attorney saying after 15 years he has decided that he does not think that she is his daughter and wants to have a paternity test done!!! SAY WHAT!!!!! Ok first why wait 15 years to say something, second um we had a paternity test done when she was 6 weeks old because he said the same thing it came back 98.999% that he was the father how much more proof does the man need. Does he think that her DNA has changed in the last 15 years. Anyway so now while he is debating whether or not he is her father or not he is not paying childsupport anymore. Yeah me!!! So i write a letter to his attorney informing her that we have had a DNA test done and included a copy of the DNA results because it just so happens that i have them but also inform her that if he would like to pay for another test i am more than happy to comply. Because im 100% positive that her DNA has not changed. So in the mean time guess who gets to pay for everything once again me. Because its not like he always had only when they could catch up with him the man is $40,000 behind in his child support as it is. Oh yeah heres the kicker he also says that if the second DNA test shows that she is his he is willing to start visitation. Im like WHAT it takes two DNA test and 15 years for him to even think about seeing his daughter!!!!
OK onto #2 well as you know Ex #2 is not paying childsupport either oh i guess i shouldnt say that because i did get a whole $50 out of him this month i can really do alot for 2 kids with that. I think im really starting to turn into one of those bitter ex-wives here!!! And he is making me insane like usual!! I refuse to talk to him so he tells the kids tell mom this or tell mom that. Makes me crazy!!! But i guess thats normall for a divorce. But not much i can do unless i take him back to court and i cant do that until i get a job.
Which brings me to issue #3 My car.......Which im sure you all read about we worked our butts off for 3 days pulling one motor out, getting the second motor ready to go and getting it put in only to find out that it is worse than the original motor that i pulled out!!!! So im pretty much back to ground zero actually no im worse than before because before i could actually drive my car just not very far now i cant drive it at all because there is no motor in it!!!! The guy did give me my money back for the motor but we have decided to just fix the original motor which is going to cost more money which i dont have!!! So im just depressed, frustrated and down right upset right now!!! I feel like nothing is going my way. I know im whining and complaing like a little two year old but i just need to get it out of my system before i explode. So here it is go ahead and let me have it i dont care. My ex says i deserve every thing that is happening to me right now because this is the life that i chose by leaving him. Hes right this is the life i chose i just didnt realize it was going to turn out like this. I know i do have alot to be thankful for because i really have been doing really good for myself considering everything since i left him its just that the last few days like i said i feel like the walls are crashing in around me and crashing fast and hard.

In the meantime do not think for one little minute that you deserve any of the negative stuff, because all you deserve is good! You are building a new life and while it isn't easy each speed bump is a lesson that you will someday look back on and say, "I survived that!" Be proud of who you are becoming because I know you have a lot of fans around here who are proud of you.

After i made that post my "Friend" as i call him called me. And i sat and talked to him and we talked about all the stuff that is going on most he already knew about because while i dont see him every day i do talk to him on a daily basis any way he has this way of cheering me up and alwyas making me feel better even when im feeling at my worse and tonight he did just that, just when i needed it the most. He reminded me of everything that i have accomplished and all the good things that i have including my 3 wonderful children. While things might be rough right now and i may not know how im going to pay my bills they can always be worse i imagine. At least we have a roof over our head that is paid for. If i can just manage to keep the electricity on then we are good, LOL

I feel your pain. You'll get through this, and when you do, it will be a time you can look back on and know that you can get through anything.
My husband went into an assisted living home, so we no longer get his monthly SSDI. I gave notice at my work because it was only a part time job, and I had no one to watch the kids. So here I am, with only a week or two left of my job, and no new job in site (and only a couple hundred dollars income for August).
I am scared in one way, but I keep telling myself to just take it one day at a time and not get freaked out about tomorrow or next week. And I know that I'll be able to look at it one day and realize that I pulled myself up from practically nothing, and it will make me stronger to know that I can do that when it comes down to the wire.

Some states allow liens to be placed as a matter of public record so that they can't skate on child support if they refinance or buy a house. I paid the fee and had a domestic relations lien search done and they entered a lien against my former BIL ;) He was buying a trailer or refi'ing or something and poof, that lien appeared and he had to pay it. ROFLMBO. Can you into how your state handles these things. Also, 40K is a huge amount to owe and I would think that the DNA test you sent would shut up his lawyer right quick. Fortunately, you now know who to deal with regarding the back support. If he has money to pay an attorney, he has money to send to you.
Lastly, support does not equal custody rights. She doesn't know him and forcing a 15 year old to do anything won't work either. She's old enough that a judge would take her feelings into consideration if he pushed custody. Some states require the "daddy" to pay for the DNA test when paternity is determined. That's a few hundred bucks you could sure use!

Have you went to your court house and submitted the child support documents
there in the county you now reside?
They have state attorneys that work from there that go after dead beat dads.
