He said you have to buy 100.00 in merchandise from a store of your chosing then send in the receipts and get a 25.00 Visa card. It's based on some sort of loyalty program. Has anyone done this or is this Bogus? Sounds to good to be true. Any info appreciated. Thanks! Carol

I believe it was legitimate but you really really had to jump through hoops to get it....and if you missed even one thing of the requirements, you were out of luck for the whole thing.
Probably someone else will be along who knows more about this.

The program is from Saveology.com...and is called the Grocery Redemption Program. When I joined up (for free), I received, by postal mail, a $300 grocery certificate with a unique Passcode on it...that only I can use. Once I received the card, I activated it on another website that was listed in the letter I got along with the certificate. The way it works is: every month, I must purchase a minimum of $100 in groceries from the store I preselected when I signed-up. I return the original grocery receipts along with the corresponding month's Grocery Redemption Coupon by postal mail. I then receive a $25 grocery gift card (from my store) to be used on any future grocery purchase. Not a bad program, and it works just fine. Well...it did. Because now the parent company (who handles the grocery redemption and the sending of the gift cards)...has filed for Bankruptcy protection. Isn't that nice? So, the program is no longer valid.

There's a guy on ebay trying to sell these and it sounded too good to be true but you say it did work so I guess it wasn't a scam. Thanks for letting me know they went bankrupted. Carol
