My next door neighbor's daughter has been missing since January 2006.
She just disappearred and assumed abducted. She was 24 at the time.
She was living in Orlando, FL and never showed up for work one day.
Her family has gone to the ends of the earth searching for her and have never given up hope of finding her alive.
I pray my neighbors will some day have the same unbelievable ending.

I can only pray for those 2 children she was forced to have by him..
he more than likely was abusing them too..
I lose my cool - hearing things like this..

They should truly search these sex offenders house and surroundings on a regular
basis.. pedofiles continue to do this crap, it don't stop.. you have to stop them..

I just don't get how this sick person could get away with this for so long. I heard that a neighbor had called police because they heard kids voices in that secluded back yard area, when police arrived they talked to this guy and he told them he hasn't had a problem and the police left instead of checking out the property. Did they not know that this guy was on parole for sex offending at that time? That should have raised a flag! If you are on parole don't you have to periodically check in or be checked on? And if you are a sex offender don't the people living around you need to be notified? Also did this husband/wife have jobs, assoicate with neighbors, etc...? If they did not isn't that suspectious? Another thing is didn't anyone suspect that back yard area where all these sheds were, isn't there a law on how many buildings to be on a property and don't you need building permits to put up more buildings? Another thing I wonder is why not try to escape? What do you have to lose.
Anywho this is just sick! But on the good side of this story is that their is hope for all the missing persons.

the backyard was set up in such a way that you could not even see the area they were kept in when you were next to it in the backyard. Sounds crazy, but I have seen some yards and other areas like that and can kinda see how it COULD happen. 10|5|I saw some video of the area on the news today, and I believe there are pics on MSN news....it is pretty much not visible until you get around the fence and the outbuildings....but the neighbors had reported hearing children in the back yard area to the police, as they were aware of the man being a registered sex offender...the police said they couldnt just snoop around the property without 'just cause'....ummm, children in the backyard of a sex offender???? it is a strange case for sure. i live in antioch ca for less than a year, strange to see cnn,the today show, etc saying here in antioch ca. my son wants to go drive by the neighborhood,but i don't really want to. The police dept really did a bad job on this one. he was a registered sex offender and some one told them that something strange was going on they never looked in the guys backyard. hope the girl and her 2 children will someday be ok.
