I emailed Teresa to see how she's doing. She was not able to get biopsy done this past Friday, but is hoping to get it done next week. She will be seeing her Pulmonary Dr. on Tuesday. She has COPD. She did see Dr. on Friday regarding sleep-apnea. She's still scared and hoping for the best. She thanks you all for the prayers! She appreciates it very much. My husband had severe sleep apena few yrs ago was so bad he even had it doing the day at on point didnt know who I was
because not enough oxgyen to the brain went to dr and a surgery
much better now doenst even snore anynore and his cancer is gone too

They were not able to get me in to do the biopsy in Little Rock. So I am going to Dr. Meade, (pulmonary doctor) here is town, on Tuesday, Aug 25th at 1:00pm. He took care of me when in 2005, when I had pneumonia. I am praying that will do the biopsy next week, I sure don't want to WAIT!!
They did tell me I have COPD. They had me go see my Sleep-Apnea doctor on Friday. My Air-Pressure for my machine use to be on 13 but he lowered it to 9 and I am doing better with that.
I will also be having a couple of procedures done on my back again but we will wait and see what happens with the LUNG first.
Been a very LONG week. The closer Tuesday gets the more scared I am. I know to put it in God's hands, but it's still scarey. As soon as we find out any info I will post it.
I am trying to keep BUSY now so I won't think about everything so much!

Teresa...my hubby uses a CPAP machine..has for years. Always was the machine that you had to adjust the rate like yours. He still was always tired...just drained etc. Then he recently got Dr to write a script for the new type of CPAP..it auto adjusts itself to your breathing. Much smaller and very quiet machine and boy!..does he feel MUCH better now! Made a WORLD of difference! No more adjusting machine and still having problems etc. He is perky and feels soooo much better using this new machine and doesn't need near as much sleep because he is getting 'quality' sleep now. Hello Everyone,
We went to see Dr. Meade, (pulmonary doctor) today and he will be scheduling me to have a needle biopsy done within the week.
***I had the CD of the 2 CAT Scans that were done last week and I looked at the pictures & read the report from the radiologist. I did read where there could possible be another mass, however I didn't say anything to anyone or to Todd. I was praying that when we saw the doctor that it would just be the 1 but he did confirm that there are 2 of them.***
The 2cm mass in the right-lung is in the bottom but also in the back of the lung, which could be hard for the needle biopsy.
The other one is in middle of the lungs and at the base & is approx. 2cm.
However because of where the mass is, the radiologist who will be doing the needle biopsy, might not be able to get any tissue. In that case Dr. Meade will do a bronchoscopy and/or Pet Scan (PET/CT scan enables physicians to more accurately diagnose and identify cancer).
He said that it could be scare tissue, lymph node but it could also be cancer. If it is cancer, he stated that it would be in the first stage, which is good. If that is the case then he would want to go in and remove it all.
I just have to put it in God's hands now.
I need to keep my mind BUSY and will start trading & getting my newsletter started.
