I occasionally post items on CraigsList for sale. These are items that we no longer use but are in good shape and I just want to make a little money on them. I've been posting on CraigsList for over a year now. Once I had someone send me a fake cashiers check for $600 more than the item price. They wanted me to cash the check and wire the extra $600 to their Western Union address. Of course, I knew it was a scam so I didn't Now it seems that every time I post I get emails asking "do you need to work, need extra money - please email me I can help you out. I get so tired of getting these spam emails. One night I posted around 8 different dresses and every single dress had a reply from one of these spam emails. How do I stop this from happening? Has anyone else had this happen? 1|1|check if craigs list has a "spam" email for you to send the emails to them|petunia1|sweetpea39@comcast.net|12:06:03|08/20/2009|

this might help. or check your email block and block out the address if you can

paypal and ebay have spam filters that you can send the emails to them. that usually takes care of it right away.

I got 2 paypal "alerts" saying my account has been flagged and spammed them right away. with the new pp fees they are now trying this one to get peoples info so be careful! pp does not eamil you for info updates.
