My chiropractior has never had one immunization neither has his brothers or sister or any of there children and you know what they are the healthiest family i know. I say to each his own if you know what i mean. Its completely up to each person as to what they decided to do when it comes to there children and the immunizations. For example my children will be getting only the immunizations that are required for school none of the extra ones that they are coming out with these days. Heck we have survived all these years without all these new shots why should we test these new ones out on our kids. Nope not me. But thats just my opinion. Eveyone has one.

On the news last night they were questioning the safety of the HPV vaccine and all the new side affects they are seeing as more and more get it. Also how it is being highly marketed by the manufactures of the vaccine, who's bottom line is money.

There is so much going on today with our big brother monster govt. that it is a big concern for me and many Americans. I do not like the direction it's going. Both political parties are corrupt and are merely puppets for the global elite/fed bankers of the world who have one agenda and that's one world govt, meaning to control and enslave us. We have been enslaved with the many taxes we pay and they want more! I don't mind paying some taxes, but it's ridiculous now. When is this going to end, until everything crashes, then what? Yes, I am satisfied, so far, with what the Obama administration is doing (or trying to do). The American voters who supported Obama knew what the Democratic Platform contained. It was public knowledge that health care reform was coming...and it's high time to get it done. I see nothing sinister in what the Democrats are doing. Health care reform is going to be expensive. Common sense should tell us that. I see you managed to mention only Democrats (- Pelosi, Reid, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd -) in your strange accusations against them (Marxism? Socialism? Fascism? Tyranny?) Sharon, you need to pick one...they all mean something different politically.
Why are you so afraid of government social programs? Two huge "socialist" programs just happen to be Medicare/Medicaid and Social Security. Both programs support millions of people...primarily the elderly and disabled. Anyhow, our nation is not turning Socialist. Our nation is currently not heading towards Marxism (Communism) either (that happened during (8) years of Dubya and his administration). The GOP nearly ruined this nation during that (8) years. All the problems that we currently face, began during the Bush administration. Under the Bush administration, the American people lost more of their freedoms and privacy rights -- marching us down the road towards a George Orwellian "Big Brother" type society, than under any previous administration. The Bush Administration destroyed our standing with our allies and friends around the world, causing irreperable damage to our nation in ways that are not readily evident. The Bush Administration was no friend of the environment either. Denying that the United States could be contributing to global climate change and refusing to sign the Kyoto Agreement; reversing many of President Clinton's laws protecting the environment and preserving places like the Arctic Wildlife Refuge from oil drilling companies. The Bush Administration invaded two countries and started two major wars (the war against the Taliban in Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf War, Part 2)...miring our military in, basically, a two-front long-term war and dangerously stretching our armed forces around the world. Must I go on?
Let's not forget former President Bush's role in the FEMA fiasco (what happened in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and FEMA's turtle-like, disorganized response was too little too late for hundreds New Orleans residents, who ended up dying AFTER the hurricane). Homeland Security was formed under the Bush Administration. The TSA were given broad powers at airports after 9/11, which resulted in an erosion of our privacy rights. Between Homeland Security and the Patriot Act (a very dangereous law)...I was beginning to wonder if Bush was leading America down the road to Facism.
Geez Sharon, I don't have the answers to all your concerns. You seem very paranoid. Yes, the economy is in a severe recession. Yes, people are losing their homes to foreclosures. Yes, more people seem to be losing their jobs. But this stuff is not Obama's fault! And he cannot just snap his fingers and get it done, either. It will take years for this country to regain it's former economic strength. There are no jobs. Jobs cannot be created when there is no work to be done. As for the Unemployment benefits program...hey, that program sounds a bit like "socialism" to me; maybe we should get rid of that program. After all, you are a Libertarian. Libertarians don't think that the government should be providing any Unemployment benefits or any other benefit program for anybody...no welfare, no Medicare, no Social Security, few taxes to pay for anything for the people.
The government did not nationalize GM; that's just not true. What is true is that the federal government owns a large chunk of GM; but the company is left to handle it's own affairs. GM will just have a deep-pockets "partner" watching them.

but I will comment of some of the things you posted.
Our country is bankrupt..we can not afford all of these programs. If people only get their information from mainstream media most do not realize how bad off this country is financially. When we have to rely of countries such as China to buy our debt (bonds) we are in trouble. Yes, countries do borrow from each other. But the US has went from being a nation that was a creditor nation to a debtor nation. People in this country have too much personal debt and now with the burden of huge government debt added on it will become unbearable. Trillions and trillions of dollars that we as a country have to borrow to stay afloat will finally reach the breaking point.
From some of the "economic experts" that saw this mess coming it, the information is that things will get worse. People such as Jim Sinclair,Ron Paul, Peter Schiff (Euro Pacific Capital), Jim Rogers, Gerald Celente (Trends Research Institute), John Williams (Shadow Government Statistics), Ludwig von Mises Institute, and others. The free market believers(Austrian School of Economics) against the current form of Keynesian economics -- central banking that the US has.
Medicare/Medicaid and Social Security are underfunded. Amost all the state pensions are now underwater. California (which has the 8th largest enocomy in the world) is going down fast. Banks(hundreds) are insolvent. The FDIC is broke and requesting money from the Federal Reserve. Just reported yesterday that a huge US bank (Guaranty Financial of Texas) is being took over by a Spanish bank from a deal with the FDIC. Fidays are normally the day the FDIC closes banks.

This did not just happen with the Bush years or the Clinton years. It is becoming clear to more people that we have a "two-party one headed system". Every year no matter who gets into office the wars continue, the rich get richer at the expense of the "average guy". Right now the US would be considered to be a form of "soft fascism government" Who knows what it will turn into. But, I believe the true American spirit that loves freedom will finally be awaked.

There's mainstream libertarianism (which is a reality-based community that's easy enough to disagree with on economic issues and which often takes progressive stances on issues like gay rights and reproductive choice) and more extremist ideas that are impossible to disprove but that doesn't make them true. My father was an atheist and felt that critical thinking was the most important legacy he could give me--his usual answer for religious types that tried to preach to him with lines like 'you can't disprove the resurrection' was 'I could say my grandmother was resurrected, and you can't disprove it, either.' Even if I can't disprove anything Sharon writes there's no reason for me to believe it.
Why doesn't someone post the salaries of insurance company CEO's--that's certainly something that everyone will find outrageous.

the way i intend to keep pj safe from any type of flu is through our family washing our hands with REGULAR (not antibacterial) soap regularly, spraying common areas (such as door knobs, the telephone and faucets) once a week with lysol, keeping our house clean, utilizing the santi wipes that are provided at the grocery stores before grabbing a shopping cart, making sure pj is covering his mouth when he coughs or sneezes, and keeping a close eye on any symptoms he may have. IF he were to come down with symptoms of the flu (any type) i would certainly call his Dr and go from there. I trust what she says and how she runs her practice. Pj is 6yo and has never had a flu shot and I don't intend on his having one now unless it is medically necessary.
How should you keep your children safe? Or how should others keep their children safe? That is completely up to them.

my daughter is a teacher, and I know how much she can not get done in a day. Lice went through my daughter classroom, and it took her so much time to get rid of them, that it took away from teaching time. She has sanitizers all over, and wipes that she makes the kids use.
